Thaddeus Shaffer has more than 14 years of broad based business and leadership experience. 

Prior to joining Allen Austin, Thaddeus worked in the finance and accounting arena for Robert Half with such companies as BHP Billiton, Kraton Polymers, Shell, SCI, OPI, Reliant Energy, Spectra (Duke) Energy, El Paso, Noble Energy, Enbridge Energy, Baker Hughes, Continental Airlines, Express Jet, Stage Stores, Brand Scaffolding,  Calpine, Nabors Drilling, Carriage Services, Huntsman, Clear Channel, Oxy, Hydril, Transocean, Air Liquide, Veolia Water, Core Lab, Stewart Title, and Halliburton.

Prior to joining Robert Half, Thaddeus worked for 2 years in the previous immerging audit area of Sarbanes Oxley.  Thaddeus worked at HCA reporting to 5 CFO’s who tasked him with ensuring the SOX audits at their respective hospitals would be compliant. Working with other Directors, Thaddeus implemented several best practices that directly affected the outcome of the audits.  In his years at the Boutique Audit firm, he provided various services from Vendor audits, OSHA compliance, and financial audits.

While in the Army Thaddeus served in the infantry as an enlisted soldier, entered OCS and earned his commission. He served as a Field Artillery Officer and left the Army as a Captain in 1999.
