Biographical Information
David Prevost joined Allen Austin as a Partner in the Washington D.C. office after a long and successful career in business and the military. For fifteen years, David served as a senior executive, director, subject matter expert, technical lead, and in various responsibilities for the Boeing Company as well as other mid size and growth-oriented small companies. He also served in the United States Air Force for twenty-six years retiring as a full Colonel.
Over the years David worked in aviation, information management, advanced programs in computer software development and a wide range of operational and support areas both in government and industry. His extensive contacts include senior executives in government agencies as well as a wide variety corporations across the U.S. and internationally.
David's expertise in executive search covers the arenas of Information technology, senior level corporate, aerospace and defense, international development, software development, security, and corporate leadership. He has extensive international experience and is an expert with operational background in cross cultural communication at all levels.
David has broad-based experience in a wide range of government and commercial enterprises, both in the US and with international governments in the mid and far East as well as Europe and Canada. He has held leadership positions in contract negotiations, marketing, sales, technology development, program management, business capture and business development. Throughout his career he has focused on the needs and requirements of the customer, a philosophy of attention to detail and hidden requirements, and a conviction that the right person for the right position is the real key to successful execution.
