Biographical Information
Gustavo LLeras joined Allen Austin as a Partner following a twenty plus year career as a manufacturing executive, fifteen of which were spent at the C-level. Gus has vast international experience and educational credentials in business, industrial, electrical, and mechanical engineering. He has a proven track record of success in organizing and developing companies, establishing efficient operations, implementing cost-saving initiatives as well as directing, guiding, and leading companies to achieve maximum profitability and corporate growth.
Gus' comprehensive business experience in private and public manufacturing and services sectors has afforded him the flexibility and knowledge required to compete in today's global marketplace. His management consulting and search practice area focus includes general management in manufacturing, business development, restructuring, turnaround and efficiencies.
Gus has reorganized manufacturing organizations and processes to lower labor costs, developed and implemented production systems and improved productivity through streamlining procedures and implementing enhanced training and management policies. He has analyzed internal procedures and auditing controls, directed the development of proprietary workflow control software to streamline production and recommended policies and procedures for setting the standards and operational practices to increase efficiency, reduce waste, simplify procedures and prevent errors within companies operations.
Gus has also generated new market initiatives to take advantage of changing market demands, developed new product lines, directed and implemented new processes within existing production lines and created new ones where needed in order to offer products in high demand from existing customers.
