Biographical Information

Steve Wassman joined Allen Austin as a Partner after more than thirty-five years professional experience. He brings a corporate executive background as well as better than fourteen years in search and recruitment. Prior to entering the executive search business, he spent eighteen years as an executive in the oil and gas exploration industry.

Steve has been an executive recruiter since 1995, where he worked within the automotive and transportation industry filling executive level positions. He has assisted a diverse client base in their engineering and technical staffing requirements both domestically and internationally. Steve heads the firm's health care practice and conducts searches for C Level executives across a broad range of industries which includes our energy & natural resources practice as well as our manufacturing & industrial practice.

Steve's clients have ranged from medium sized to Fortune 500 companies and include Tenneco, Inc., Federal-Mogul, Inc., Timken, Inc., United Technologies, ArvinMeritor, TRW Automotive, Dow Corning, Stryker Corporation, Freudenberg-NOK, Lear Corporation, & Gentex Corporation to name a few.

Steve moved with his wife and youngest daughter from Michigan where they were life long residents to Ft. Myers, Fl. in 2006. He is active in the community and is a member of the Fort Myers South Rotary Club and in the local Chapter of the United Way. He enjoys playing tennis, golf, exercising and being with family.
