Biographical Information
Alexandra Hamlet joined Allen Austin as a partner in our Washington D.C. office. She is skilled and knowledgeable in the areas of senior level corporate searches including industry and manufacturing, finance, publishing, non-profits, medicine, technology, media and entertainment, international business, government and defense and corporate boards. She is active in national and international searches.
With Alexandra's background as president of a firm providing corporate organizational expertise and cultural anthropology experience for more than nineteen years, she brings special insight to executive search. Alexandra is a Harvard trained cultural anthropologist. She applies anthropological techniques and incorporates unique cultural profile analyses to identify the perfect match for clients and candidate assessments. She is experienced in government and defense, she leads both the firm's Aerospace and Defense Practice, and is very active in general senior level corporate search.
Prior to joining Allen Austin, Alexandra was an internationally renowned management consultant providing business counsel to over seventy U.S. and overseas corporations. She has lectured and consulted extensively to U.S. and international entities.
Her past clients include not only the U.S. but Canada, Asia, Far East and Europe. Alexandra has also consulted with and lectured for a multitude of U.S. companies from start-ups to the Fortune 500.
She continues to consult in numerous national and international senior corporate and government arenas as an expert in world business and global culture and senior level search where unique candidate fit; diplomatic skill, performance, capabilities, network reach and discretion are required.
