Jim Davenport is a Partner of Allen Austin with a primary focus in the Non-Profit, Higher Education, Engineering, Transit, and Healthcare sectors. Before joining Allen Austin, Jim was Vice President with a Litchfield & Willis, a generalist retained search firm in Houston, TX . He brings over thirty years of experience working with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and disciplines to help them reach their goals and business objectives. Prior to joining Litchfield, Jim was an accomplished business owner and senior executive in the healthcare products field.

Jim’s executive search consulting experience ranges from working with mid-level firms to major corporations, Non-Profits, and Higher Educational institutions. Jim has successfully completed searches at the CEO, COO, CFO, and Provost levels, as well as officer and director level searches in the functional areas of marketing, facilities management, finance, accounting, systems, transportation, logistics, distribution and security. Jim has personally conducted over 140 searches in his nine-year search career.

Jim has been actively involved in the community having served as President and Board Member of the Christian Community Services Center; President of United Methodist Men and a Member of the Board of Stewards of his church; and, President of the Dad’s Club at St. Agnes Academy.

Jim resides with his wife and daughter in Houston.
