eric gravesAn accredited public relations practitioner (APR), Eric joined Allen Austin as a Partner and targets sectors in the Financial Services, Public Relations, Educational Non-profit and Oil & Gas practices. Eric’s 30-year professional history spans successful careers with Fortune 500 companies, a national non-profit including, N.A.S.A., EXXON, Texaco USA, Browning Ferries Industries (BFI), Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Smith Barney and Project GRAD USA. Eric served as BFI’s Corporate Vice President in charge of Public Relations, State and Federal Government Affairs, Community Affairs, Corporate Giving, and Diversity. He spent over 25 years at Texaco in positions of increasing responsibility in Texaco USA’s Marketing and Public and Government Affairs Departments, ultimately serving as Assistant to the President of Texaco Exploration and Producing Inc.

Eric brings to his search practice a broad-based understanding of non-profits and Higher Education through his experience as Constituency Director at Project GRAD USA, a national educational initiative, whose mission is to increase the graduation rate of students attending high schools in disadvantaged communities throughout North America. He has had significant experience in the financial services industry at both Citigroup Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch, achieving Series 7, Series 66, Series 31, special needs, and insurance licenses and certifications.

Eric's strong management, public relations, development and financial backgrounds combine to assist his clients identify highly skilled candidates for their executive search needs. He has a deep appreciation for boards, public education and community involvement and has served on a host of local, regional and national boards and community organizations, including Keep America Beautiful and was a charter member of Leadership Houston and Leadership Denver.

Eric resides with his family in the Woodlands, Texas.
