Anshuman Desai joined Allen Austin after twenty-eight years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology. Anshuman founded and lead Apex Technology for fifteen years. His accomplished career includes Technology, Engineering, Operations Management and Project Management.

Anshuman’s search practice is focused in the technology, engineering, manufacturing and life sciences sectors. His practice also includes general management searches across a broad range of industries. Anchored by diversified experience, exceptional analytical skills and understanding of business enterprise dynamics, Anshuman brings important and meaningful empathy and perspective to his clients. Intensely passionate about the search & selection process at Allen Austin, his focus is to facilitate ideal matches between his clients and leadership talent.

Prior to joining Allen Austin, Anshuman was President & CEO of Apex Technology, an engineering and manufacturing services concern headquartered in Houston. His clients included corporations serving the oil industry, such as Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Schlumberger, Cameron, Wood Group, NASA- JSC, Baker Oil Tools and Dresser Valves, to name a few.

Prior to Apex, Anshuman worked for companies such as Cooper Industries, Foster Valve, Seaboard, and Graco. Anshuman’s consulting experience includes business development, change management, international business collaborations, and project management in technology, manufacturing, engineering and health care industries.

Anshuman has been an active member of Houston’s Minority Business Council, Indo American Chamber of Commerce, Vistage (formerly TEC), various political action committees and social organizations.

Anshuman is on the board of Chinmaya Mission Houston and is involved with various social organizations in Indo American community in Houston. Anshuman is deeply interested in working with and mentoring youth to develop them in to responsible and contributing citizens.
